The Municipal Primary School Bratsvto, Skopje includes 559 students in the teaching process for the school year 2017/2018 (256 Macedonian and 303 Albanian students) and also has a regional school in Gorno Nerezi with combined classrooms from 1st to 5th grade.
The school is multiethnic, therefore the teaching process is carried out in Albanian and Macedonian language. The school staff is experienced in organizing extracurricular activities in various sections: mathematics, literature, school chorus and sports.
The school put great attention towards the exchange of educational and cultural experiences between teachers and parental involvement as an important factor for successful implementation of the educational process (formal and non-formal). The school staff is particularly interested in promoting mutual cooperation among the students, respect of differences between the Macedonian and the Albanian students, nurturing friendship and tolerance, inclusion of parents in various activities and support of their mutual cooperation as well as inclusion of the local community, private companies and cooperation with NGOs.
